These are my results from the Fruit Flush Diet.
Day #1 - I could only drink protein shakes during the whole day. They were actually pretty tasty. I did pretty well and would sometimes forget that it was time to drink another one. I wasn’t counting down the minutes until my next shake so that was good. I had no major cravings for solid food. But then came night time. I had a pretty big salad with cooked tilapia, olive oil, and lemon juice. It was pretty tasty. That was my last meal for the day. About an hour after my salad I started getting some bad cravings for some real food like cheeseburgers, fries, sandwich, cereal - anything. I stuck it out though but felt a little weak so I went to bed.
Day #2 - I got up that morning still feeling a little weak, but I was looking forward to eating fruit. At 8am I had a banana which was pretty satisfying. I weighed myself and saw that I had lost 3.4 lbs since Day 1. Not bad! Every two hours I had different fruit. At lunchtime I had the worst cravings for fast food, especially since my co-workers were eating it! But later that night after my big salad I was fine for the rest of the night.
Day #3 - I woke up with no headache or cravings! At 8am I had another banana. I weighed myself again and saw I had lost another 1.2 lbs. So 4.6 lbs total so far. Woo hoo! The cravings at lunchtime weren’t as bad. It’s funny how your body adjusts. Dinnertime was my last meal on the diet so I decided to cheat just a little bit. I put seasoning on the chicken that went in my salad and drank some tea. :-X But the good news was that I was done with the diet!
The Morning After: I weighed myself this morning and found that I had lost a total of 6 lbs! The pounds I had gained on the cruise were gone! So, what has this diet taught me? Portion control. I can’t see the effects of getting rid of the toxins but I’m sure it helped somehow. Overall, I say this is a pretty good, healthy diet if you are interested in getting a big start on weight loss.

Tomorrow I am going on my first detox diet. I will be getting all of the toxins out of my system hopefully. It’s a 3 day diet that consists of only eating fresh organic fruit and protein whey during the day, and a raw vegetable salad at night. You lose up to 5-9 pounds so they say. My sister did this and lost quite a bit before her high school reunion. It will be nice to shed off those pounds that I gained from the cruise but it’s also really cool knowing I will be getting rid of all the aspartame, caffeine, and toxic preservatives out of my system. I’m sure it won’t be easy but it’s only three days and well worth the sacrifice. If you are interested in knowing more about it, there are a bunch of
