The Bangles were awesome last night! I was so excited to see them. The venue I was at was not crowded at all and I was only standing a few feet away from them. A group called The Bridges (4 sisters with brother on the drums) opened for them. They rocked! When The Bangles finally came out I was starstruck and began taking tons of pictures and video! They sang all my favorite songs except for “Something That You Said.” They had a cool rendition of “Walk Like an Egyptian” by incorporating parts of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson” into it. Susanna’s voice hasn’t changed a bit and she’s still beautiful as ever. I hightly recommend you go if they are ever in your area! Enjoy the video and photos I took!
Guess what??! I got tickets to go see The Bangles this coming Thursday! I’m a huge fan of 80’s music and they are no exception. Actually one of my favorite songs is their 2003 single “Something That You Said.” I can’t wait to go see them!

Rosie O’Donnell introduced a young man on The View named Von Smith who is famous for his singing videos on youtube. He sang the Dreamgirls song “And I am Telling You.” She said he was better than anyone on American Idol. After listening to him, I would have to agree even though it is kinda funny watching him perform.

Tonight I got to see Billy Joel in concert live at the BJCC arena in Birmingham, AL. Pretty cool eh? He put on a great performance. We had some nosebleed seats but luckily I brought my binoculars. I also brought my camara to videotape the experience. Did you know you can put the lens of a camara to binoculars to get an even better zoom? It’s ghetto, but it works!
