Oh dear Lord! The things they are packing into phones these days. And I thought the calculator in my camera phone was a cool edition.

The techie device I’m REALLY going ape over right now? The Tape2PC USB device that plugs into both the wall and your computer (at the same time - it has to) and lets you record your audio cassette tapes as MP3 files. I’m just loving this thing!!! I don’t know if there is a Sharper Image near you but they’re going out of business, and I bought mine there at a ridiculously lower price than you can find it for on the internet.

It looks a bit complicated to me - give me a phone without email, texting, camera, etc and I’ll be happy.

The QWERTY keyboard makes the phone what it is. Most phones have the same features these days, but the keyboard is a winner. Enjoy the phone.

That phone looks pretty bada$$. The keyboard is what does it. I can’t stand typing on other phones. This one makes it so much easier.

yea..that’s right. The QWERTY keyboard of this the LG Rumor makes it worth all pennies that you’ve spent. Make sure you are taking good care of this new asset and hopefully the phone last two years like you wish :)

Dude, I can’t wait to see the phone today. If it’s as great as it sounds, I’m going to have to steal it from you.

… and I don’t mean steal the idea, I meant physically steal your phone.

.. cause I’m gangsta like that!

I like this phone very much, both it design and user friendly function but the price is a bit too much for me for now, so I will wait for the price to drop more.

Awesome phone to have, a must have!

That’s a great phone indeed! I’m currently using the iPhone and wish the keyboard capability was better. I’m used to the Qwerty keyboards. My need to look into getting a new phone.

That’s a pretty spiffy looking phone you got yourself! I’ve had LG phones in the past and have loved them. Right now I have a Samsung with a QWERTY keyboard…although it doesn’t slide out, so it isn’t as cool as this one.

If you guys like cool phones with a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out, you definitely need to check out Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. It’s THE smart phone that’ll compete with the iPhone.

Sweet phone, I think you chose a good one. I don’t blame you for not wanting internet along with it. I wouldn’t be able to stand trying to view a page on a little 2 inch screen! It’s a waste of time. But the texting part is good. I want to get a phone with a keyboard like that but I think it will take some getting used to.

My brother just got this yesterday and it looks pretty neat. I recently got the Mogul and have been pretty happy with it so far. I am interested to compare the two. His screen does seem a little too small.

Yea, the screen is a little small but it works.

nice phone, the keypads are ok but I’m just as fast with T9 Word. The thing about those phones is that the buttons are so small that your thumb will hit multiple letters at once. It’s very annoying lol

I have one of these too, got it for $120. Did you have to sign a new contract when you got yours? I found mine here:

Hi, this is really good phone congrats! But you don`t say nothing about the price. I really like it but in my town I can`t find it in the stores. Please tell me the price there. Thanks!

I must say regarding phone models - I have never got along with Motorola. Nokia was always my preferred choice but now Sony Erickson really has come along way and I prefer their phones - give them a go if you get a chance!

How big is it? How heavy is it? It looks like a real small computer to me. It it’s compact and light, it’s a real winner. If not, is it worse having this phone just for texting? My friend learned how to text with normal phone without a light (blindly) and with the speed of about 3 letters per second - so quick. And he also can do that with one hand - I can’t imaging how he can do that but he does.

And another thing. Did you know that it’s very easy and free to send text messages from the internet? I always do that when I’m online. It’s much quicker (for me :-) ) and simplier.
