Well I have had some minor improvements in the following areas that I would like to tell you guys about:
Body - I have lost 16lbs since January! I’m able to fit into my old pants which is a really cool feeling. Feels like I have new clothes. How did I do it? Well, I’ve been going to the gym 4x a week and watching my caloric intake. The old fashioned way works!
Mind - I’m almost finished with my last semester of school before I enter Nursing school in the Fall. I’ve been doing pretty well making all A’s and B’s on my tests. I’ve almost got everything turned in for Nursing school. I learned CPR and got all my vaccines and letters of reference. Now I just have to write a good resume and essay. Let’s pray the scholarships pour in!
Soul - God has really been talking to my heart lately ever since I was at a memorial service for a friend that passed away and after I watched this movie about how God accepts all who love Him - even homosexuals. As a teen I really concentrated on my relationship with God but in my later 20’s I kinda steered away from Him. I’m trying to build that relationship back up now.

Good to see what you’re up to. Congrats on the weight thing! It took me a total change in diet and at least a month of kickboxing (one of the few good things I got out of THAT relationship LOL) to start me on getting back in shape. I lost about 20 lbs in a few months.
Good luck this semester, and you better believe God loves us all
Glad that you manage to lose so much in a few months times. I am trying to do so, not to much effect
Hi,
Good to see the gym routine is working, thats a good weight loss in ~3 months.
4 times a week is a good plan, but make sure you don’t drop the weight too quickly (after all guys should have some bulk on em, skinny is nevver good!)
Try to alternate cardio and strength days, don’t mix them in one session. So say, Monday - Bi’s, Back, Abs. Tuesday - cardio. Thursday - Chest, Tri’s, Legs. Saturday - Cardio.
If your already watching the diet, run this routine for a month and see how it goes. The weightloss wont be as high but you’ll find you’ll tone up better.
Cheers
congratulations on your improvements….
enjoy your old pant
Good luck in nursing bro, a few of my friends are doing that now. All I hear is them complaining about Anatomy & Physiology.
Best of luck to you for your future studies. Ah.. god, I think he comes back to us when we are least thinking about him…
Always nice to see that someone is doing well so congratulations and good luck with those scholarships.
good to read that your faith on god is restored. its just the exams of life that make us to forget god. but he right there with us all alng.
losing weight sounds cool. its always good to be leaner and lighter.
What a Go Getter. I wish I was like you. Not so much for the diet thing, but the education. Congrats on your self improvement.
congratulations
It seems that you have a good experience on controlling your weight. I am also a man who are worry about my weight but my case is, I am too thin.
My father, mother and my bros do. I don’t know how can I increase my weight efficiently.
Do you have any idea?
It is quite shock for me that you are also a christian.
Which church do you usually visit?
be friend, man:)
Nice work on the weight. I couldn’t loose much in a life time.
16 pounds in under 3 months is really something to be proud of!!
16lbs since January! WOW!! Way to go tall guy
Do you think getting your mind back on track was the key to your success? Without focus, it is far too easy to skip the gym for any small excuse.
I gave up smoking a year ago and now have about 12 pounds to lose, gives me inspiration.
Good job on the successes. I am lucky I don’t have to deal with losing weight. If anything, I need to gain weight.
Great job with everything. It is awesome to keep everything in life balanced, and having a checklist to make sure that you have accomplished something spiritually, bodily, and in your mind keeps you on track. You are well on your way to success. Keep it up

Losing 16 pounds is no small feat. Once you have done it then you know you can do it again if you need to. That is the nice part!
Keep up the good work, a wonderful accomplishment. Have to say I like your balanced approach to making your life what you would like it to be. Congrats.
Congrats on the last semester! I know you’ll enjoy Nursing, it’s a very rewarding career plus the sky is really the limit!
Yah nursing will definitely pay off big in the long run. Who knows, maybe you will become a doctor someday!
Congrats on your weight loss and your success! Keep it up!
Keep it up and good luck then :).
Good job loosing weight.
I watched that movie, too, although it was awhile back. It gives strong testimony that Gays can be Christians, too. Also, it contains the oft-ignored message that followers of Christ are called to love EVERYONE. The trickier part for me has been reviewing scripture and trying to determine the true meaning of the passages often used to marginalize people like you and I. What I’ve found impossible (so far) is finding a church in Birmingham, Alabama that welcomes gays and also teaches theologically sound Christian doctrine.
Perhaps we can talk about this sometime..
Keep up your weight loss! Theres alot of people that need to use you as an example!
