Ooh, in that case you handled becoming 30 much better than I did. I thought life as I knew it was going to end ;) But now that I’ve reached 31 and 32 it does not bother me (…much…anylonger).

Wanna go to Spain…that’s a nice goal, it is such a great country!

I am nearing the big 3-0 as well…I don’t know where the time went! I don’t think that I will handle it as well as you! :)

As a nurse practitioner you could totally make your travels cheaper by volunteering health services for developing countries! Good luck to you!

I remember turning 31. It seems like it was 8 years ago. Wait, it was!
So what are you kids doing for fun these days? We used to plan our Y2K strategy when I was 31….

31! Thats not old! Its amazing! You get to live life up because you are old enough to know your way around the system of things but young enough to have the energy to enjoy your adventures. Congrats!

Awww, 31 is still young. I know because I turn 35 this March and I keep having to remind myself that I am still young :)

I hope that your birthday was deliciously wonderful.

Things didn’t really start happening in my life until I hit 30 a few years back….it should be an exciting decade :-)

Hey man, more power to ya. Jay-Z says that “30 is the new 20″. He’s 33 and in his prime. Best of luck in your nursing and travels. Cheers!

Age is only a problem if you let it be one. I sure wouldn’t like to be as foolish as I was at twenty again.

My 31st birthday was at 15th September 2007.

I know it’s a bit funny to be in 30’s. But it’s OK, just act as usual, in fact many ladies still think that I’m 25….LOL

Keep your weight down people…we are getting old and metabolism is getting low

The thirty’s have been great for me. They started well when I divorced my first wife at 29 - two or three years of partying but now I am trapped (sorry darling, I mean in a loving relationship!) again.

Hey man, it could be worse… you could be 40 ;)

It’s one of those funny things, everybody wishes they could be younger but nobody ever appreciates that they’ll one day look back at the age they are now and wish they could be that young again.

Oh, and I bet I’m taller than you ;)

we can always be young at heart but sometimes our bodies cant keep up. i’m only 29 and i can’t enjoy some of my favorite food. my uric acid levels frequently rises and i could barely walk when this triggers my gout.

ah I remember saying the same things when I turned 30, now I’m coming up to my 40’s and dreading it. The metabolism is still slowing and keeping my figure gets harder and harder. Having goals is a great way to stay positive about the dreaded aging.
