I’ve now had the chance to hear these two newly released albums to finally make a good judgment on which one I like better. Hands down, I prefer Carrie Underwood’s new CD
Carnival Ride. Carrie has the the talent, the voice, and even co-wrote four of the songs. My favorites from
Carnival Ride are “All-American Girl,” “Let’s Get Out of This Town,” “Last Name” (the “Before He Cheats” song of this album) and her most beautiful ballad yet “I Know You Won’t.” Britney, well she doesn’t have the voice obviously but her CD does have a fun beat to listen to while driving. My favorites from
Blackout are “Gimme More,” “Piece of Me,” and “Heaven on Earth.” Unfortunately all I can think about is her being forced to sing these songs that were spoon-fed to her. “Cmon Britney, please sing for us. We know you want to get back to your drugs but just stay in the studio a little bit longer, ok?”

I haven’t heard Carrie’s album, but Britney’s I just couldn’t handle. The things is, so much happened to her outside of her music/art that I can’t take her for serious anymore. Shame, but that’s the way it is.
Carnival Ride is what I have only listened to. The reason, why i haven’t listened to Britney’s Music? Is answered in the above comment. Once I used to listen Britney’s songs a lot, but now, things have changed!
While I haven’t bought the album, I heard Carrie sing at the VMA’s and she was great! Even if I thought Britney’s album was great ( which I absolutely don’t) I wouldnt buy it because I just cant stand her anymore as a person.

Ooooh, looks like Britney’s gaining ground. She’s got 15 whole percentage points now! I need to vote for Carrie Underwood again
I can handle Carrie’s music but every Spears song I hear is like cat claws on a chalkboard. I’m afraid to listen to her after Toxic. I swear that song managed to give me an alergic reaction.
Heh.. and I think that Toxic was her best song (and video) ever!!!
Everything else was less serious
Spears songs are not nice. Carrie’s are pleasent to hear.
i haven’t heard both but would like to listen to carrie’s. i love her previous album. so pleasant to hear she sing. i used to like britney’s song but lately she kind of unpleasant to see especially when she has become mom.
Gimme more is okay, i havent heard the entire cd yet.
I dont care much for carrie
strange when I was voting for Carrie, it never occurred to me that most people would share the same sentiments as I about Britney. Out of 10 comments only 1 was in favour of sorts. I think the verdict has been passed. :-d
You would better compare Carrie with any other pop singer. It has become a habit for me to listen to Carrie’s albums after listening to her precious song “Inside Your Heaven”. Carnival Ride CD haven’t yet synced up to the levels of “Inside Your Heaven”.
this blackout is horrible i think. i dont like it at all.
Not only is Carrie much more attractive her voice is a thousand times better - IMO!
