Ok so I really haven’t talked about what I actually do yet on this blog. Well, the truth is…I work at a vagina clinic. Ironic isn’t it? Actually it’s vaginal research - research on pregnant women. We have different studies going on in our clinic and I recruit pregnant women to join. They hired me because I’m bilingual and because we have a huge Hispanic population in our city. I interpret for the Hispanic women if they come in for a study. I stand behind the curtain during the exam though. (But I can still see because I’m so tall! just kidding) I really like the job and the people I work with. Speaking Spanish everyday is like a dream of mine! Plus the studies that we do are beneficial to both the child and mother so that makes me feel like I’m doing something good AND it’s great practice for the nursing field. So ladies… if you’re pregnant and in my area give me a call.

Very very interesting. I love it that you enjoy translating for the moms. It’s a very important job, actually. Women undergoing experiments on their privates certainly need to understand what’s going on!!

LOL, I too was laugh quite hard when I read that you work in vagina clinic… I am IT professional and that sort of thing is miles away all day long
