Today on The View Barbara Walters made an announcement that she had talked to Paris Hilton yesterday in her jail cell. This is what Paris Hilton told Barbara Walters according to WatchingTheView.com:
She is in the correctional treatment center. She will be released June 25th. She sounded tired, but was aware of what she was saying. She said that she is “hanging in there” and that she feels she is a different person. She was not released from jail last week because she was wailing or screaming, but because she was not eating or sleeping. She was severely depressed and felt as though she was in a cage. She was not herself. She was not on antidepressants. She knows now she can make a difference and wants to do so when she gets of out jail. She said, “I used to act dumb. It was an act. It is no longer cute. It was not who I am, nor do I want to be that person.” She wants to help in the field of breast cancer or multiple sclerosis, two diseases that have touched her family. She also considered asking toy companies to help her create a “Paris playhouse” for children who are ill. She wants to use her power for different things. Her “spiritual adviser” told her that her spirit did not like the way that she was being perceived and that is why she was sent to jail. The other women have been friendly and the guards have been fair. She hasn’t looked in a mirror since she got there. She is no longer that “superficial girl.” She spends her time reading books, newspapers, and fan mail. She also has played ping-pong.
Wow, I’m actually pretty impressed. I hope Paris decides to stick with her new resolutions once she gets out of jail. Guess this means that Nicole Richie will have to pull the dumb-blonde act on The Simple Life all by herself next year.

Yes, I know that when I have only experienced something for 10 days … it completely changes my life … dumbass …
OF course she is reading more … she is in prison!
She will probably be more productive to society in prison than she was out of prison.
Haha interesting post Paris better learn her lesson this time I know a few people that have died from drunk drivers so I have no respect for drinking and driving.

It’s about time that Paris wised up and accepted the fact that she’ll have to change. It’s a shame that it took a stint in the clink to do so.
I really like your blog.
