Rosie O’Donnell introduced a young man on The View named Von Smith who is famous for his singing videos on youtube. He sang the Dreamgirls song “And I am Telling You.” She said he was better than anyone on American Idol. After listening to him, I would have to agree even though it is kinda funny watching him perform.

he is in a league of his own where is he now? what is happening to him now? I think he is brilliant
Although Von is no Jennifer Holliday or Jennifer Hudson, I have never heard another male singer ATTEMPT and for the most part, HIT that vocal range to make that song believable. He was pitchy in some parts (sounding like Randy Jackson), but he truly does have a gift..he will do phenomonally well. Hiram’s comments were unnecessary and unfortunate.
